This piece was painted from a photo of an orchid plant that was growing at my parents house the last time I went home to Clewiston.  My mom and dad have beautiful orchids that grow in their back yard.  Everything in south Florida seems to grow well.  There’s something about the soil and weather that makes plants thrive.  I tried cropping the photo while keeping design elements and perspective in mind. What to you guys think?
