For the rest of the 30 in 30 Challenge I’ll be painting some of my favorite places…this is Painting #16.  I’ve decided to limit the time I paint each day so these will be speed landscapes.  Instead of thinking about each piece, I’ll just be doing.  I’m hoping to learn to be a little more loose and spontaneous through the process.

This first landscape is of Lake Okeechobee, the lake in South Florida that I grew up around.  I spent a lot of time on that lake and it brings back great memories.
