My parents are teachers in every sense of the word and I am so thankful for that.  They are some of the most patient people I know.  They take time to explain things, are interested in my boy’s growth, and encourage us to always do better.  This painting was inspired by a photo that I took when my mom, my oldest son, and I went to the neighborhood pond to feed the ducks.  My mom was sharing stories, reflecting on the past, and talking about the ducks with my oldest son.  It was a special moment.
