So – here’s the latest! I’ve been working on this painting for a week and I think I’m finally finished. I’m not really happy with the photos though. I couldn’t scan the painting because it’s too large to fit on my scanner. I think it’s time to invest in a good camera.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago I joined my family (my boys, husband, and parents) on a trip to St. Simons Island, GA. It was a wonderful vacation. We spent a week walking the beach, watching people fish for blue crabs, touring the lighthouse and maritime museum, and shopping. My boys really enjoyed the trip and we will have memories to last a lifetime! I couldn’t wait to get home to paint this. It was inspired by a photo that I took from the pier.
