I was asked to paint this sweet dog as another Christmas gift.  I went with a little more abstract background on this piece.  I was given a photo of the dog with his face leaning against the owner’s leg, represented by the blue in the painting.  I really struggled with finding a way to make the composition work but I’m happy with the way it came together.  I love that sweet face.
