Lesson 4: Tension

This week we discussed tension in my watercolor class.  We were given 30 minutes to paint a painting full of tension and the painting above is what I came up with.  We explored more abstract works and reviewed examples by famous artists.  It’s funny, I never was really that into abstract art but it has been so much fun to create and I feel like it may be a style that I’d like to really explore more!
