This is my Day 5 submission for Leslie’s 30 in 30 Challenge and my Illustration Friday submission of the week: Edge! My four year old and I had some art time together (our works of art together below.) We both painted/drew a bunny and owl.

I used a wet into wet technique, starting with blue and allowed the shapes that it created to guide the painting. The base coat of blue inspired the bunny and owl at the edge of the forrest. I just went with it and added the pen and ink at the end.
