Ganesh Watercolor

A couple weeks ago, I was asked to paint a Ganesh by a client of mine and I was thrilled to have the opportunity.  I had to do some research because I wasn’t familiar with the Hindu religion but the more I learned about the symbolism related to the Ganesh, the more excited I was to paint one.  

My favorite part of this painting is the color.  I really enjoyed using the vivid pinks and blues and I had a great time using a creative approach to develop the composition.  Now it’s time to share it with my client.  I hope she loves it!
