My mom and I started a watercolor class with one of my favorite artists, Ken Austin, last week. For my first assignment (a value study), I chose to paint one of my other favorite artists, Frida Khalo. I listened to stories about her life the whole time I was painting this.  She is such an interesting person.  If you’re not familiar, you should definitely check out her work and story.
